• In firefox and Chrome i get this ugly popup at the base of the browser anytime a visitor puts the mouse over a link.

Could someone please tell me if their is some code to disable that?

Clearly i don’t just want this gone off of my computer but for anyone who visits my site.

  • It is very difficult to diagnose this type of problem without being able to view the site. If you post a link to your site, someone may be able to help you.

You don’t need to see my site you need to open firefox or chrome and put your mouse over a link. It happens in the bottom left of the browser.

It’s something that the browser does. I want to know if there is some code or javascript to stop it happening.

If it is not due to your site, then it is not a WordPress problem. You might get better help on a Firefox or Chrome forum.

No it is not a wordpress problem but often it is possible to effect the style of the browser with code. For example i could style the default browser scroll bar by using jquery such as jscrollpane.

If i went to a browser forum they may be able to tell me how to turn it off at my end but i’m not doing it for me, i want to effect the style for anyone who visits my site.

So if anyone knows of any code, jquery or whatever that will stop those popups appearing when a link is moused over i would appreciate it.
