    Hi,

    Great plugin. Thank you.

We have one small issue as this site has international users. In the US, it seems the apostrophe looks like this on a slight angle. Child’s

For an international search e.g. in Australia, the apostrophe is a vertical line (no slight angle). I can’t post an example, as it gets changed to the US format.

It seems Ivory search can’t read the AUS/UK apostrophe format so it basically sees it as a different word?

Is there anything that can be done so that either format will work? e.g. is there any way you could identify an AUS/UK apostrophe and convert it to the US format for the search?

I tried adding synonyms but they don’t work for the AND search that I need to use. Tried some different Fuzzy matching settings with no luck either.

    Many thanks.

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

You can try using the “Inverted Index Search Engine” in the search form Options and configure the Index settings to remove or replace with space the apostrophes and quotes punctuation.

    Hi Vinod,

I have made those changes and it is looking good! Nice work. I am checking with the website owner to do some further testing but so far this looks like a great solution.

After I have the feedback, I will leave you a well deserved review.

    Many thanks.
