UK Checkout issue stopping payment

We had an issue on one of our sites where the backend settings are set to ‘gb’ but the front end is looking for ‘uk’ we managed to fix this by editing the code to remove the ‘uk’ tag from the front end loop it is now working again. Obviously this is not a long term fix as the next plugin update will remove this.

This seems to be another issue because it should work if you have an agreement on for example gb. I need more information regarding this.
