ul li style editing

  • how exactly does this work when i see something like #menu ul and then #menu ul li and the likes. How exactly does the style sheet modify based on those headings?

  • If you style #menu you are styling everything below it. If you style #menu ul you are styling the ul (unordered lists) one level lower but including everthing below that. Once you get down to #menu ul li you are styling the lists and below only. Just experiment a bit and see.
