I have Ultimate Addons for Elementor and use there Log-In Plug-In. Lately if I try to use the Plug-In it just refreshes the page. If I use the /wp-admin I can log-in.

BrainStormForce help was to disable all plug-ins and closed the ticket. I did disable WordFence and it worked fine.

    Would you have any ideas?

    Thank you,

P.S. I get an email requesting verification also. But, it takes them to the wp-admin logon screen, not the calling page.

Hi @klngroup, thanks for reaching out to us.

Do you have Wordfence login security features enabled such as 2FA or reCAPTCHA or are you attempting to run Elementor’s log in totally independently? Our 2FA and reCAPTCHA currently only work with WooCommerce and the default WordPress login/registration pages so that’s why I ask.

If you disable all plugins except for Elementor, Wordfence and the Ultimate Add-Ons that include the login page, does the behavior continue? This is just to rule in/out the possibility of a plugin conflict being caused by another plugin and Wordfence rather than the issue being between Elementor and Wordfence specifically.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

    Hi @wfpeter,

I must say, you guys are the best. Your response is always fast and friendly.

I disabled WordFence, before any other plug in, and right away the Ultimate Add-Ons plug in started working. I use WordFence 2FA but had disabled it for any roles that access the custom login page. That didn’t help. I noticed that when I try to log in via that page I’m also getting a email to verify my log-in. But even when I verify the custom log-in page still doesn’t work.

The default WordPress login pages works, and that’s where the link in the verification email sends me. ??

Is it likely that the 2FA is causing a problem even when disabled for that role?

Hi @klngroup, we’ve been extremely busy as a team with a recent product launch so I appreciate your kind words and I apologize this reply has taken slightly longer to reach you than the first.

Custom user roles can be an issue if they have any permissions that are usually reserved for administrators so may be seen as needing to provide a 2FA code even though they aren’t selected in Wordfence > Login Security > Settings. As we only support the default WordPress and WooCommerce login/registration pages currently, the verification email will direct users to one of these rather than acknowledge another login form was attempted.

Let me know if you’ve taken any action in the mean time.

    Thanks again,

    Peter.
