[Plug-in: Ultimate Landing Page and Coming Soon] Won't allow short-codes/forms

  • Just installed Ultimate Landing Page and Coming Soon Page to try it out, and inserting a short-code from Form Maker into the description does not work, and even the native WP form builder does not work either. The plug is advertised as being able to do this, if I am reading the blurb right. I really like this plug (simple to use) but I need this functionality.

    Also, I need to get rid of the stock “Enter Your Email” form for feedburner, but there is not an option for that in the settings. Perhaps I do this in the CSS (somehow) or in the pHp? Ha!

    Can’t get a reply from the developer, and ha, it’s been over 20 hours ?? This plug also does not seem to support short-codes.

    Well, I need to find a plug that can create a landing page like the one I have (gosh, it’s simple), support embedded shortcodes (forms) and be SEO-able. Preferably free but willing to pay if it’s really good, and does mailchimp. I looked at optinmonster but that’s not in the budget for now. Can’t get icegram to work as well, it appears under Landing page for a second and goes away – but i really like it. But then again, it works on page/post/homepage and not just on a root display of nothing but the landing page.

    I think the problem is that I don’t want to have any pages at all in the https://www.pcatww.com wp app. It’s only reason to exist is to go to two other subsites. But perhaps my thinking on this is screwed… I should probably just ditch this idea and move one or the other sites to the root and branch from two sites instead of 3. But then I run into the problem of just surfacing a page with nothing else in it but the landing page (i.e. no menus, no anything but what i have now. arg…
