    Hey!

I’m making a website and I launched the site today, after receiving feedback saying it would be good to have an email when their account got approved I tried to set that up in the Ultimate Member settings. When I tried to approve/disapprove any of the emails it led me to a white page with the error message “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

I have been looking into errors with troubleshooting and I’m at a loss, I’ve deactivated all my plugins and the issue continued, I check my memory limit and that looks good. I’m aware that as it’s the first day of launching the traffic might be a problem and also my wifi/signal isn’t great, just wanted any advice at all!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @aspencer17

I suggest you turn on debug mode (edit the wp-config.php file and set WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY to true). You will see detailed error messages by doing this which can help find out the issue.

    Hey,

Sorry I’m fairly new to WordPress, where would I find the wp-config.php file?

Found out that this is the error:

[25-Nov-2022 15:39:01 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: fputs(): Argument #1 ($stream) must be of type resource, bool given in /srv/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-member/includes/admin/core/class-admin-settings.php:3466

    Hello @aspencer17

Looks like you are trying to copy email templates to your theme and your theme directory does not seem to be writable. Please change permission for the directory and try again.

    Hi @aswingiri

Sorry, but how would I go about changing permission for the directory? I have looked om the theme page, but couldn’t find the option.
