Ultimate Member Pages showing as Blog Posts

  • I have installed Ultimate Member to manage an HOA Community. The plugin works well except on my blog page the Ultimate Member pages show up as blog posts.

    I have tried limiting the posts to only show certain categories. This has no effect as the pages aren’t tied to a post category. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin and the problem persists.

    Any ideas on how to not have those pages show as blog posts?

    Site is on Bluehost, using the Enfold theme. WordPress, all plugins and theme are up to date.

    Hi @kdannay,

    It is very likely some settings in your theme that trigger this behavior.
    Please check Enfold and blog grid template settings.

    I have checked my settings and all seems okay, and the problem persist. Any other ideas?

    Fixed…the blog posts are actually separate pages that can be deleted under “all pages” in the dashboard

    Solved: e.g. you will see the UM (Ultimate Member) page “Password resets” in your blog posts.
    Go to Pages -> All pages in your WordPress. Find the page “Password Reset”, open it and copy the shortcode in it. Then trash the page. Create a new page named Password Reset and paste the shortcode in it and save.
    Go to UM -> Settings and use the dropdown right right to ‘Password Reset’ and save settings.
    Do this for each UM created page and now the UM pages should now no longer show as blog post.
