Ultimate Member profiles not showing

When clicking on users/profiles in the member directory, only the first and last name and blank cover photo appear- I am not seeing the users’ profiles. I have ensured that the following appropriate settings have been enabled

• The profile form shortcode is pasted on the user page, assigned to the appropriate user, and I have “matched” my user page to the default UM User page
• Enabled- “Can view other member profiles?”, and I have specified the corresponding member profiles that they can view
• All appropriate user roles have been enabled

And, no, I do not have a plugin conflict- I’ve already checked. Why can’t I see the members’ profiles??
