I was reading this topic (see link below), because I’m having the same issue. I don’t want any members registering themselves on my site. They all need to be registered from someone who is already registered to the site. When I use the shortcode for registration, it says they are “already registered” and the form doesn’t show up. This is a huge problem. I was given the impression this plugin allowed registered users to register new users.

I was thrilled to find this solution:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/default-registration-form-you-are-already-registered/#post-10913771

Until I realized that Ultimate Member updated and I can no longer find any of this code in the plugins/ultimate-member/includes/core/class-shortcodes.php file. When I click ctrl+f and put in the word “already” nothing shows up. I also tried “registered” and nothing came up. I also tried just scrolling down to line 513 and there is nothing that looks similar to the code mentioned on that help topic.

Can someone please tell me how to fix this?

    Thank you!

Also, I can’t have these registered users using the conventional registration form. I don’t want them to have the ability to make more admin users. If I click the conventional add user page it allows them to make someone an admin and this is not acceptable.

    I have me (the admin)
managers (I need them to be able to register users, but no admin users. they can add associates and clients.)
associates (I need them to be able to register users, but no admin and no management. they can add clients and more associates)
    clients

    Hi @lovestoriesonline,

Unfortunately, it’s not possible without some custom coding and customization of the plugin files. If you really need this option I suggest hiring a developer for assistance.

    Regards.

Hi there, someone else posted this here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/ultimate-member/

It seemed quite easy then, why is that no longer the case?

What code do I paste in to the plugin file to get it to work?

I have a client dependent on this functionality and without it we won’t be upgrading to paying for your plugin and will have to find something else. So the incentive is there for it to be a function of the plugin, meaning people will pay for it.

I just need a bit of code as a work around for right now.

    Thank you!

Hello, my forms are all jumbled up. When I’m creating them, the fields all look perfectly okay. But when I preview the form on live preview or I visit the website’s registration page I find out some fields are missing altogether, other don’t have attributes (just appear as empty text boxes). How do I cope with the problem?
