Ultimate Member upgrade not working

If you are trying to run the DB update in UM version 2.5.2 it’s a well known bug.
Skip this update and install UM 2.5.3 and run the DB update in this version instead.

Enable PHP error logging, read this guide: “How to enable debug logging”

You will probably get a PHP log file with notices and errors: /wp-content/debug.log

Post the content of this file here in the Forum and we can give you the PHP error explanation.

What did you get in the file /wp-content/debug.log when trying to do the UM DB update?
