Ultimate Member with Kadence Blocks

  • Hello. There is a small problem.

    I am using your plugin to configure access to Gutenberg blocks. My Virtue Theme Version: 3.4.8 Author: Kadence WP

    I use both your Ultimate Member plugin (Version:2.6.7) and the Gutenberg block plugin “Kadence Blocks – Gutenberg Blocks for Page Builder Features” (3.0.41)

    The problem is that Ultimate Member in version 2.6.7 cannot hide blocks that are created through the Kadence Blocks plugin. But at the same time, your plugin hides the blocks if I use the native blocks from WordPress. That is, the problem is only with the collaboration of Ultimate Member and Kadence Blocks

    Also, your plugin starts working correctly with Kadence Blocks if Ultimate Member is rolled back to version 2.6.0. Which is what I have to do in order to use the content access restriction.

    Please help me figure out what is the problem here. I can not understand the problem on the side of Kadence Blocks? Or is the problem on the Ultimate Member side?

  • @serg999 I found that if you “group” a kadence block (or many blocks) it will be wrapped inside a wordpress block, then ultimate member restrictions will work. I know in some cases this might affect layout. Hopefully UM can get this updated, perhaps with an addon, or instructions on how to manually add Kadence blocks to the list of items we can restrict.
