    Hi Developer,

My hosting has upgrade my site to php 7.4 from 5.6 and I have noticed the slides have been broken since.

The slider doesn’t display any more and this is the error shown.

Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /home/customer/www/domain.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-responsive-image-slider/layout.php on line 15

Please let me know how I could fix this issue. Much appreciated with any help. Thanks.

    Hi @nodswen,

Can you tell me which plugin version are you using?

And if you recently updated the plugin then what was the last plugin version?

I will try to fix your issue ASAP.

    Thanks

    Thanks for the fast response.

    I’m on version – 3.5.4

    Hi @nodswen,

I think you were using the 3.3.9 or older version before.

The easiest solution is to downgrade the slider version to 3.3.9.
    Downgrade plugin version: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/recover-broken-sliders-by-downgrading-version-3-3-9/

    OR

If you have a few sliders then just recreate them.

    OR

    Contact me on my website.

Due to WordPress guidelines, I modified some of the code into a plugin.

    Thanks

    Hi @farazfrank

I do recall the last time I upgraded the plugin was around late September 2020.

I have downgraded the plugin to 3.3.9 but now the images seems to be loading only yet not showing.

Do you have any idea why?

Can you go through my third option?

I need to check the issue on site.

@farazfrank can you pls advise what the latest version released in September 2020 was?

    (@farazfrank)

@nodswen there is no update from the last 4 months.

I would suggest you use the latest plugin version.

And those sliders not working, just open and update all sliders one by one.

Hope this will fix all slider issues.

    Thanks

I have tried both 3.5.4 and 3.3.9 with newly created slide and neither works.

Basically it seems the plugins is unable to load the actual image for some reason it’s just showing the loading.gif

@farazfrank pls kindly provide your guidance. What would be causing new slide to not show any images? I’m currently on ver 3.5.4.

    Thanks.
