Ultimate Tag Warrior 1.0

  • In a symbolic gesture of symbolitude, my tagging plugin is now version 1.0.

    It stores tags and tag->post associations in their own tables for super-performance reasons. (This is probably the key differentiator between this, and other tag plugins. Oh! and that it isn’t as closely tied to Technorati and/or del.icio.us)

    It can display tags on posts (primarily linking locally, with the option of linking to Technorati, Flickr, del.icio.us, your friend who also has a tagging thing, or really any url that you can tack a tag on the end of and have something useful happen).

    It can also display a list of the most popular tags, an archive with the most popular tags+recent posts (I have a category plugin in the same style), and a tag cloud.

    There’s also a management page in the admin system that allows renaming and deleting tags.

    (It does, however, require wordpress 1.5ish)

    Anywho, this is plugin #2 for me, so be nice.
