Ultimate Tag Warrior breaks WP2 Beta Two

That fixes a different issue. My issue is with 2.8.7 which breaks the CSS.

Works fine on my install of 2.0beta2 with UTW 2.8.7. Must be your specific theme/setup.

Imagine that, a beta theme not tested or developed to work with a beta release of WP not working. Who woulda thunk it?

I have also using UTW 2.8.7 with this patch applied under 2.0 Beta 2 without any problem.

Was that really necessary? This is the place to discuss issues with 2.0 beta is it not?

I knew everything was Beta and when I was uploading I made a mistake and uploaded to my root directory instead of my test directory. By the time I found out it was too late and so I had nowhere else to turn.

I contacted the developer of the plugin who help me identify the issue and it was easy to fix. It is all working now and we have all learned something and I think that is what it it all about.

BTW: the developer is going to update thje plugin soon. ??

This is not a discussion about 2.0 however. Every attempt was made to inform users that 2.0 is a beta release, not to be used on a person’s main blog, and to be sure to back every thing up, etc. There’s also a sticky in the 2.0 forum with a link to a wiki page on plugins working/not working. I also made every attempt to spread the word on the K2 forum via flickr to notify users that WP 2.0b was not compatible with K2.

The plugin UTW (Ultimate Tag Warrior) breaks the page layout and CSS forcing the sidebar to the bottom of the page. and the footer where the sidebar should be. I have reported it to the develper but I was wondering if anyone had a worksround?

Your theme probably has a problem, I use UTW 2872 on a wp20b2 install and it works.
The only problem is with the permalinks, I had to enter them by hand

FYI: Thanks for the feedback Luc, I got it to work and the developer of UTW was kind enough to help me out. This thread can now close, thanks to everyone.
