In my registration form i have three roles
1:Member(Default)
2:Investor
3:Entrepreneur

I have made a new form for user(investor) registration, in which i took a mandatory drop down field and give a default value such as (Investor).
But while registration if anybody fills with wrong data like wrong password at that time the default drop down value get’s blank.
if user fill all field correctly and submit the registration form then it’s took the blank drop down value and the user get register as member not as investor.
Even if i gave drop down field mandatory it is not working correctly.
so kindly get me out of this.

There’s a role dropdown field, you do not have to use a custom one to register user based on a role.

I have already used Roles(Drop down) which is under Predefined Fields, not in custom,also in that drop down i put only one choice that is (investor). But still i am getting this issue.
i made it as mandatory field but it is not working and user easily get registered.
