UM and affiliate lifetime commission

    hello
    affiliatewp lifetime commission plugin add to user profile page on back end a field if we enter 3 letter then doing search and show list of existed affiliates and the selected one will be the affiliate of the user of this profile
    this field meta key is lifetime-affiliate
    I want to add in UM registration form a select field contains list of affiliates usernames and when adding new user and select affiliate and finish the registration then the selected one will take place in the new registered user profile – lifetime commission affiliate field in the back end

    I tried that by creating custom field select and I added in it list of usernames of affiliates and then I gave this field meta key lifetime-affiliate
    and I tried to add new user but it didn’t give result

    would you please help to do it in the right way

    Hi @makmerghen

    Are you sure that just adding the meta key ‘lifetime-affiliate’ and set the username as a value will connect the user to the affiliate? Have you contacted the Affiliate developer to confirm this? We haven’t tried integrating that plugin so we are not sure how to deal with this one. Let’s see if others in the forum have done something similar and share their solution here.
