UM Blocking Logins

  • I’m evaluating UM for purchase. Yesterday it started blocking logins to my website! When attempting to login I get this error, “This action has been prevented for security measures.” Any idea how to fix/prevent this?

    I had to delete the ultimate-member folder from my site’s plugins directory via FTP to regain access to my site’s dashboard. Not cool.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for trying out UM and sorry for the issue. This may have been caused by one of the settings in UM settings > Access tab.

    Did you prevent admins from being able to login via UM login form from this tab?

    If you want you can create a test site, to test UM on so it does not impact your actual site.
