UM Emails Not Saving

    Good day,

    WP Dashboard > UM > Settings > Email

    I am unable to save changes made to any UM pre-set emails.

    There is NO active plugin on the site (except UM). The site runs on Twenty Seventeen theme.

    Dear all,

    I will answer my own question.

    In order for the emails and their settings to be saved, one should disable ModSecurity in Cpanel, save what needs to be saved and then reactivate MODSecurity.

    We found that ModSecurity was blocking what it thought to be an XSS attack on the “Ultimate Member – User Profile & Membership” plugin.

    You can also ask your hoster to deactivate the particular ModSecurity rule which interferes with the plugin.
