    Well isnt that strange, the only e-mail that is send by ultimate member is in case I delete a member. In that case the automatic mail is send. All other mails are not send. And yes, all those mails are activated in um – settings – email

    Does anyone have an hint or idea why only one automatic mail is send?

    Check your outgoing email’s content by using the “Check & Log Email” plugin
    and verify if UM is sending the emails and the emails are lost during transportation to the user’s email inbox.

    Hi there Veronica, thanks for your input!

    So I installed check and log, activated smtp, sent a test mail, worked fine. So from this point:

    a) I get no logs at all under “view logs”

    b) um still does not send any mail except of when I delete a member. The only mail arriving is the “your account has been deleted” one.

    Try to do a Theme/Plugin conflict test if your Theme
    or another Plugin is causing a conflict with UM sending email.

    Well, guess I give up and delete the um plugin. All plugins deactivated, theme changed to a default. The problem stays the same. No mails, except of “account deleted”.

    Last statement before I rest my case, I installed the plugin “websmtp”. And great at least this plugin is showing the logs. So, the automatic mails for i.e. registration are not sent at all. There is no log for that.

    Are you sure that “delete user” mail is the UM mail (not default wordpress one)?

    thank you for your reply. Yes it really is the UM mail. Right now I got it working. I reinstalled the web smtp plugin, and now all automatic mails of UM are working. Dont ask me why, just did the same again, with the same smtp settings. Sometimes things are quite strange.
