UM Profile editing fail!

  • Disclosure I am not a webdesigner.

    I have created a profile site, as a directory, it seems to be working well until I realize the member can’t update their profiles.

    The profile has an option for editing, you can change things, but when you press “update” it takes you back to the old profile page with none of the updates.

    1. I’ve deactivated all none UM plugins arlready.
    2. read every post here and tried everything suggested
    3. I’ve elminiated any field that was required
    4. UM and setting to pages is correct. “My profile” goes to user, and Account goes to account.

    Anything else I can do!? I am almost done with the functionality part of the site, but can’t figure this one out

  • Hi! I have the same problem. When the user tries to update the profile, the update button is stuck and a prohibited sign appears over it. I also tried the solutions you say, but none worked, maybe it’s a plugin bug.
