UM redirect fails to work: login always lands on account page, logout blank page

Hi there,

My site has the latest version of UM 2.0.25. I noticed today it has issues for ordinary users (participant/subscriber) while admin users don’t have these issues:

1. After login, ordinary users land on their UM account page (https://www.a2zitpro.com/zh/user/<useremail>gmail-com/), the setting to redirect to other places such as woocommerce My Account page stopped working. Clicking “home” to go to home page lands on the above same UM account page with this url: https://www.a2zitpro.com/zh/user/<useremail>gmail-com/?redirect_to=https://www.a2zitpro.com/zh/.
2. Logout stops on a blank page (https://www.a2zitpro.com/zh/logout/); refreshing it lands on the home page though.

It seems UM could not auto-redirect to the urls per settings based on the roles of the users. Instead it insists on landing on the UM account page. Clicking on home page link also fails to redirect correctly to the home page, but it works with other pages.

I also noticed that the test site with the same UM version works fine with the same settings.

It seems that the UM redirect mechanism somehow got messed up. Perhaps in the DB?

BTW, even after I followed the UM instructions to deactivate all other plugins except for UM and set the theme the Twenty Fifteen, the issues remain.

Going back to version 2.0.24 didn’t help either.

Anybody has a solution, or any recommendations to dig deeper into the issue?
