UM select tab or

I have a public member directory in 3 languages. The fields need translating, but also the content of the field. My members can choose to provide their information for all or any of the languages. I am trying to find a way to make this work. My thinking was that if I can make a form or a tab only appear in one of the languages, this may be the way to work it. Does anybody have any idea on how to do this?

I am using WPML, but as the content is free text I can’t use it to translate fields.
