UM [ultimatemember form_id] Exclude specific users not working

Could you please confirm what version of UM you’re using? Also, could you please check if there are extra whitespaces in each line in the Exclude specific users list?

– I confirm that UM version is 2.1.21
– There are not extra whitespaces in each line of Exclude Specific Users list (just add one username per line and then I change line with Enter)

After saving the user names to exclude from listing
do you get these names in separate lines again as you have entered them?

Exactly, I find them exactly as I entered them just before (one per line).

I can reproduce your issue now and I’m trying to isolate the UM bug.
WP cache is returning the excluded user as non-existent.

By the way I also found that excluding users from members list is only supported by UM for Windows administrator clients.

I doubt that preg_split( '/[\r\n]+/' .... will split the names on line feeds for Mac OS and Unix.

Hi Veronica, in my user list, from the control panel and on the site, the users included in the list of those to be excluded exist, even if I delete the WP cache.
If You want I send You a temporary link to access into WP control panel to check them.

Do you have user names with local characters other than a to z?

Can you try to remove the email address from the list.

I remove it but nothing change ??
Moreover, in “User Roles to Display” checkbox I set only Subscribers to view into list but this 3 users are Administrator…

I have isolated the error in WP and this MySQL statement which is returning a NULL value for all excluded users where $db_field is login_name with the value = the user login name:

$user = $wpdb->get_row(
			$wpdb->prepare(
				"SELECT * FROM $wpdb->users WHERE $db_field = %s LIMIT 1",
				$value
			)
		);
