um_email_as_username user meta?

    Is there a reason why you went about adding a unique meta key with the user’s email address for every user? Such as “um_email_as_username_emaildomain-com” with their email address as the value? I have a query that looks for unique meta keys, and the list is getting outrageously long to the point that it is hanging up and crashing my site. This is really frustrating especially since the user’s email is already stored elsewhere by WordPress. Can I stop this and create a workaround?
