Umstellung auf php 7.3

  • Guten Tag,

    mein Provider hat mir gesagt, ich solle wordpress auf php 7.3 umstellen, sonst wird die Website Probleme aufweisen.

    Nun habe ich versucht mich in den Adminbereich über /wp-admin oder wp-login einzuloggen, das funktioniert jedoch nicht mehr… was soll ich tun?

    current errors are caused by your (customized?) theme Enfold.
    If you have any default WordPress themes (twenty something) installed
    you can (make backup!) delete enfold theme by deleting its folder in /wp-content/themes/enfold/ (use FTP or hosting panel filemanager)

    Try to log in to your site, it should revert to use one of the Twenty themes.

    Look for Enfold theme update or contact theme vendor with your problem (theme does not work after PHP update)
    Its commercial theme, so i’m not aware about its update status.

    Ich konnte mich jetzt in mein Adminbereich einloggen. Wo kann ich ein Update auf php 7.3. durchführen?

    Try asking your hosting support (they may have a setting inside hosting control panel).
    You cannot switch PHP version using WP Dashboard.
