Un-protected content appears protected

The problem: I have a custom content type (Testimonials, from another plugin), but when I go to view them, there’s the ‘member’s only’ warning box over them. The problem is they are not set as member’s only content, so…. what do I do? As far as I can tell, there’s not even the option to set the content as member’s only.
