unable to access account through server

    So I signed up for an Udemy course with WP and already posted this question to the instructor, but I may or may not get an answer.

    I created an account through WP.org , confirmed it through my email and downloaded the server, but when I access the login page through the server

    general/gotoapplication

    it takes me to the users blog then

    address/admin

    I get the login page

    I enter my credentials

    ” unknown email address. Check again or try username”

    username also does not work.

    I think I have something wrong with the server, but I can not figure it out. Because the login works just fine when I login directly to the wp.org page. What am I missing here?

    please advise

    As we understand, when you log in through the WordPress login page the login flow is working fine. But when you try to access this through the server it is not working.
