Unable to access Admin area

    When I select the OVERRIDE option:
    Do not allow users to login from the WordPress login page. Note: You must select an alternate login page
    I can login using my usual login credentials on the new login page, but I cannot access the admin area – I get the white screen of death when selecting “dashboard” from the WP topbar menu. And the wp-admin and wp-login pages are disabled (as requested in the selection).

    How does ADMIN access the admin area when we login from the front end?

    Hello azlivin008,

    This option doesn’t restrict users to access WP admin dashboard. It only redirect user to PR login page from WP default login form page. When admin sign in from PR login form, admin can go to WP admin area. Please try disabling your plugin each at a time to see if there any plugin causing conflicting issue.

    OK. it is not blocking access to /wp-admin, but you have to KNOW to go to that url to access dashboard, because even if you are admin, you are taken to current webpage after login, with no dashboard links.

    I think that the free plugin should automatically redirect admins to the wp-admin dashboard, and non-admins to the standard pages. Other custom user redirect options could still be an upgrade.

    In Pie Register community version, default settings applied on every user roles. Admin users can access admin dashboard through admin bar on top. However, this feature is available in our pro version. In Pie Register Pro, you can set after login/logout redirection based on user roles.
