• Hi,
I cannot login to wordpress from the backend. my site is https://elisemareeinspired.com
I went into hostgator phpadmin and tried to reset the password. when I put the password and username in, it says the internet page is not available. Sorry I am a nurse and not computer literate it was probably stupid to think I could start a blog without any knowledge whatsoever.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
    thanks

    What was the error message?

How did you change your blog url back?

    Have you tried:

resetting the plugins folder by using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder from a fresh download of WordPress. by using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. (manual upgrade)

I am thinking that you should put the <?php ob_start(); at the starting of the wp-login.php It’s really helps

Don’t do that. No, really, do not modify wp-login.php. Modifying any core file that ships with WordPress is always a really, really, REALLY bad idea.

Walk through what keesiemeijer explained instead. That’s a much better method for solving the OP’s problem of being unable to access the WordPress dashboard.
