Unable to Access Dashboard

  • Hi there!

    So all day I’ve been trying to log into my website dashboard to work on it, but I can’t get past the login screen. The login screen appears, but then I click login and an error page appears that says “This site can’t be reached – The connection was reset.- ERR_CONNECTION_RESET”

    I’ve tried deactivating all of my plugins by changing the name of the folder on my cPanel File Manager V3. No change. I then tried deleting a plugin I recently installed, also no change. I don’t think plugins are the problem based on this.

    I then tried renaming my themes folder, also nothing. I tried renaming the specific theme that I currently have active. No change.

    I’m really at a loss here. I’m new to wordpress, and I’m not good with coding, so I’m not sure where to go from here… any help would be greatly appreciate.

    My site is chasingunknowns.com, although I don’t know if that will help since I haven’t even published it yet…

    I should also mention that I’ve visited https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Login_Trouble and none of those suggestions have worked for me.

    I tried changing the http to https in Settings on the General tab. After I activated the WP Force SSL.
    after that I am getting the following message.

    There’s a problem with this website’s security certificate

    I cannot even access the admin panel to go and change the settings back to normal. I am stuck. my website https://www.modernagedesigns.com

    Please help I need to do a lot of work on my site. Would appreciate a solution to my question soon as possible.
