• If I try to access my site mandgschoolofmotoring.com from the browser I get the following:Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/mandg1/public_html/wp-content/themes/LightBright/functions.php on line 84
Same applies when trying to log on via admin.
Site was up and running ok until I added code to theme template when installing “Breadcrumbs”
Can somebody help me to regain access so that I can delete the code I added.

  • Try switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming:

    wp-content/themes/LightBright

    to:

    wp-content/themes/LightBright-old

using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

Thanks esmi I tried your suggestion but had to revert to removing all of the files from the domain and reinstalling as although I could view the site I could not access it via admin. So thanks for your suggestion.

Excuse me for my rudeness here, but i am hoping that Esmi will be able to urgently help me with the following:

My site is gone, after changing general settings (1 post)

Our site isnt live yet as I am still currently working on it. Our main site (pangea.co.za) is still live and active, we signed up for WP and I have been working on (pangea.co.za/site) in the backend until everything is ready to swtich over. An elderly lady who is going to be doing our blog, has logged in and accidently changed the general setting URL’s. I have tried to change it back to (pangea.co.za/site) however it hasnt worked! I am unable to log into the dashboard (everytime i do it keeps looping me back to the live site)

PLEASE HELP! my boss is currently out of the country and checks on the site each evening to see my progress, she is going to freak if I dont get this problem fixed ASAP. ANY help would be appreciated!
