• I updated a couple of my plugins tonight and now whenever I try to access any of their setting pages, it says “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page”. The plugins themselves still work though.

I’ve tried removing them and reinstalling them and still nothing. I’ve tried a ton of apparent solutions I’ve come across but none of them work. I only installed WordPress the other day…

    Can anyone help? Thanks.

Thank you. I’d tried most of those fixes but there were a few I hadn’t seen before. I’ve tried every single one of them now but none of them fixed it. Here’s what I’ve done so far:

    Checked folder and file permissions
Forced a db upgrade by changing the version number
Made sure all database prefixes were the same (I never changed it from wp_)
    Deleted .htaccess
Removed all plugins and reinstalled them
    Removed auth keys

Most of the problems in that thread concern not being able to access the admin panel at all but the only thing I can’t access is the plugin settings. Does anyone else have any ideas?

I resorted to making a new installation of wordpress to just make sure it wasn’t a server setting causing the problem. It works fine. I’ve decided to just move my content over to the new installation.
