Unable to access WPGlobus settings

    After changing from default theme to Ascend (https://www.ads-software.com/themes/ascend/), I am not allowed to access WPGlobus plugin settings. Error: “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
    When reverting back to “Twenty Seventeen” everything is ok, and I can access settings. Do you have any ideas how to solve it?

    Clean WP: 4.8.3, no other plugins, just WpGlobus 1.8.8
