Sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing but I’m afraid there’s a misunderstanding.
The interface change did not affect the license functionality in any way, and everything functions the same as before.
The Account tab will appear only once a license is activated. To activate a license you need to install at least one pro extension, while OceanWP theme and Ocean Extra plugin are active. Regardless of your license status, the activation is not automatic.
I advise you to check the doc, and in case you experience any problems, you can always submit a ticket and someone from our team will help you out.
