Unable to Activate FB VIral Downloader Plugin

Hello, I am having this same problem, since I updated to the latest version of WordPress last week, V3.9.1.

It gives me no details beyond “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”

I have no recourse but to delete and reinstall the plugin, but the same thing happens. I have deactivated all my other Facebook plugins, does nothing. This is my most valuable plugin and there is none like it, please help!

I am quite certain I replied to this last week, but now I do not see my message, so no wonder I have not received a reply.

To clarify, the plug-in is not being utilized, there is no page/section for you to track, I can’t even activate it in the plug-ins list, so.. I don’t know what information you need. It does not show up on my WP sidebar, as its installed but not ‘activated’. I can’t clarify the problem any further. Please see my previous explanation.

First of all sorry for the delayed response. Can you kindly switch on the wp-debug and send us the error file as its very difficult to comment on the possible reason of the issue. We either need to get into the admin panel or we would need the error file.

I switched on wp-debug, but don’t know where to find the error file. I deactivated two plugins that were generating errors, but it had no effect on the FB Viral plugin, and now no errors are given, same problem. I give up! I’ll wait for the next update I guess, or try a new theme.

Update: upgraded to WP4.0, I turned-off all my plugins, cleared the cache, activated FB-Viral and now I get this message:

But now I’m able to put the code into the page, it works, and it also says this:

Hey Guys, I updated and it is working, but I get this error on the page where I inserted it:

Still unable to activate after the latest upgrade..

I CAN activate it! The plugin works fine, but it just gives me that error additionally on the page I used it.
