Unable to Complete JetPack Installation

Hi there,

From what I can see, the Jetpack plugin is properly installed on that site. Just the Jetpack connection is broken:

Log into your site and go to Jetpack ->Dashboard and disconnect Jetpack.

Then clear your browser cookies, log back into WordPress.com and your site’s Admin user account. Then try reconnecting Jetpack.

Do you still see this error? At which step in the process?

Hi there — I attempted these steps and still received the error. Here’s what I did:

NOTE: Jetpack was not downloaded to my site.

Downloaded Jetpack
Cleared browser history
Shut down browser
Restarted browser
Logged back into wordpress
Clicked: “Activate”
Clicked: “set up Jetpack”
Received Error:
Invalid request, please go back and try again.
Error Code: invalid_client
Error Message: Unknown client_id.

Okay, deactivate Jetpack again, but don’t delete it.

Then install and activate this plugin: https://github.com/automattic/jetpack-addons/archive/add/jp-rm-options.zip

Then try connecting again. Let me know whether or not that makes any difference.

Unfortunately — we have the same result. Still unable to activate with the same error code.
