Unable to activate plugin

    Hi,

    When I activate the plugin on my site it triggers a fatal error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home/john8116/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-link-status/core/alive.php on line 36.

    Oddly, I’ve activated with no problem on two other sites also running 4.6.1 and hosted by the same company.

    Hi, that happens because the PHP version of your server is too old, you need to upgrade to recent PHP version.
