Unable to activate W3TC

I was in the process of testing the Setup Wizard when it suddenly stopped responding. This caused a significant issue with my website, resulting in an “Error establishing a database connection” message that persisted for over 2 hours. I was initially perplexed as to what caused this, but managed to regain access to the dashboard by disabling W3TC through FTP.

However, despite regaining dashboard access, I’m now unable to reactivate W3TC.
