I am trying to activate plugin but keep getting the error below:

Warning: require(/home/everyicn/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/lib/packages/League/Container/ServiceProvider/ServiceProviderAggregateInterface.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/everyicn/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/vendor/jetpack-autoloader/class-php-autoloader.php on line 87

Also not able to upgrade WordPress core. Most plugins update but as soon as I try to activate Woocommerce, the error appears and all plugins revert to needing updates again. This also includes themes.

Yup, message: “Update failed: Could not remove the old plugin.”
Then looking though the files, the Woo folder was still there, but empty, so reinstalling the old version (v6.4.0) failed as well. Had to remove the placeholder folder to get the install to work.

Took a couple of tries, but after closing all browser tabs and apps, it finally installed with no errors. It might have been the multiple open tabs of pages of the site causing the issues.
