unable to active or deactive plugins

  • i was working with plugins easily but recently i can’t active or deactive them.
    this error occurred when i wanna active or deactive:

    Your attempt to deactivate this plugin: “passage/maxblogpress-stripe-ad.php” has failed.

    Please try again.

    Renaming the directory for that plugin within the plugins directory is perhaps a better method.

    so i have to rename all of my plugins?!! because all of plugins can’t be active or deactive

    no just rename the wp-content/plugins/problemplugin directory and that would solve it per plugin.

    if this is a generic ‘all’ plugins then something may be messed up somewhere else.
