Unable to add children

I am unable to drag and drop nodes into anything but the top levels. Existing children cannot be moved unless you’re moving them to a top level. Your video shows that it should be possible, indeed I’m pretty sure this worked a couple of months ago on my WordPress 3.9.3 site. I am using CMS Tree View 1.2.30; the problem occurs on Chrome, IE and Firefox.
I do appreciate this is a free plugin. I’ve looked at the code and wow that’s a lot to get into. Any help appreciated!
