Unable To Add Control Items

Hi,
I’ve downloaded the plugin and am able to add a new section in the customizer and the first control item. It works brilliantly. However I am unable to add any more control items to sections. I think there is meant to be an add control button in the sections area, but I have nothing. There seems to be no way to add more than the first control item which is done when creating a new section. Please can you advise as i’d really like to use this plugin. thanks.
