I recently discovered that I was unable to create a new FooGallery or edit existing galleries. When selecting an existing gallery, the page looks like this (same thing for creating a new gallery).

After looking into other requests, I deactivated all my plugins minus FooGallery to no avail. Cleared Gallery HTML Cache and CSS Optimization Cache. Cleared the browser cache, page settings, and cookies. Custom Ready Event was already checked.

I’ve also reinstalled older versions of FooGallery without any success.

Here is the FooGallery System Information:

    Hi @clintau24

As a first troubleshooting step, kindly go to the Edit Gallery page of an existing gallery then on the top right, you’ll see a “Screen Options” menu. Click on it and ensure that “Gallery Items” is checked as shown in this image: https://prnt.sc/6S2aEYEkRnGA

Kindly try this and let us know how it goes.

    Kind regards,
    Elvis.

Hi there @elviiso, thank you for the response.

The “Gallery Items” option is selected, however there is a spinning loading wheel beside it. No amount of time waiting makes it stop.

hi @clintau24 the spinning wheel you are seeing should not be there in a default WordPress install, which means there is another plugin (or your theme) interfering on that page for some reason. Can you test disabling all other plugins except FooGallery, and try the same steps Elvis suggested again please. I am interested to know which one of your plugins is adding that spinning wheel to the screen options menu and why

    Thread Starter clintau24

    (@clintau24)

Hi @bradvin – I disabled all the other plugins and the spinning wheel is still present.

@clintau24 thanks for testing that. It can only then be your theme, or your host that is adding the spinning wheel. I doubt it would be your host, so it must be your theme. You can test this by changing your theme temporarily to a WordPress default theme like twenty twenty one. Please give that a quick go and let me know

@bradvin changed over to the Twenty-Twenty-Three theme and unfortunately the issue continued
