Unable to add Instagram

I had successfully added my instagram account via the cookie method, but instagram flagged it as automated and disconnected it. I’m now trying the login method, and it just has the load wheel for about a minute after I enter my login information, then does nothing. I’ve have a phone number 2 factor authentication active, as well as doing it from a trusted device. Is there anything I can do about this?
