Unable to add more tasks

    I am setting up a volunteer sign-up sheet for a local non-profit pickleball club. I bought the customizer and custom fields add-ons, and I think I have it right where I want it.
    However … as I am adding tasks to the Beer City Open event, suddenly I cannot add a new task. Creating one and saving it leaves the new task unsaved. To add a new task, I must delete one before adding a new one.
    My task count is at 99, which seems quite low to be an actual limit, especially since I don’t see that in documentation anywhere. But 99 is an interesting number and might be a clue.

    This has come up a couple times in the past, but you have to go several years back in this forum to find the posts. See the solution in my last reply to this thread:

    Need to increase the # of post variables allowed in your server’s PHP configuration. With custom fields that are used on tasks, you can have quite a few POST fields for every task (there are also several hidden ones), so it doesn’t take long to exceed the default max post variables size of 1000.
