• I attempted to insert my Affiliate Banner links on my site https://ideasprolife.com but I could not add the HTML code or embed the URL in my blog posts. For example when I add a block for HTML code from ShareASale (for Namecheap), it simply doesn’t display the banner on the admin page or at the front-end of the site. Embedding the URL also does not work and it simply says “Cannot Embed this Content” or something like that.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

*can you share the example of the code you are trying to add?
*have you contacted ShareaSale support to ask for any additional guidance or insight?
(I have code from ShareaSale on a page of my website in a CUSTOM HTML block, seems to display as expected)

    Hi @contentiskey Lisa.

Thanks for your response. I tried to add the following code using the CUSTOM HTML Block

    <a target="_blank" href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=1896894&u=3033902&&urllink=&afftrack=" rel="noopener"><img src="https://static.shareasale.com/image/Shared-hosting-build-your-website-728_00.png" border="0" alt="Build your website with Namecheap!" /></a>

I have not asked ShareASale yet but I will also do so.

Wow, it displays here, but not in my blog posts.

*try this: install health check plugin which can be used in troubleshooting mode to deactivate all plugins and theme might help narrow down the source of the issue
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/

*can you try adding the code on a page instead of a post?

    (@contentiskey)

@abijoe -consider editing to removing the affilate link from code you provide in the forum post- might be considered spam-like.

Ok thanks @contentiskey. I have removed my Merchant ID from the code – if that’s what you mean. I will try health check plugin as advised

I have used the troubleshooting mode with Health Check Plugin but the issue remains.

*what steps did you do in troubleshooting mode? all plugins deactivated? theme change to default?
*did you try to add custom html block with ShareaSale code to a blank page with no other content?
*do you have a local development site to try the classic editor plugin instead of using blocks?
*contact ShareaSale to see if their support team has an alternative suggestion.

    I have a question:

    Is the banner image accessible?

@contentiskey, Thanks for your follow-up. Yes I did the first 2 things you asked. I will try the Classic Editor as well, but it will be easier to be able to continue using block. I have also raised a ticket to ShareASale.

@a2hostingrj, Thanks for wading in. I still couldn’t view the banner.
