Unable To Add Privacy/TOS Pages to Footer

… footer.php page for my theme but it doesn’t look like there is one.

The main theme is Novel Lite but I’m using a child theme called Doctorsline.

the footer of your theme has a sidebar (‘appearance – widgets’) into which you could add a ‘Navigation Menu’ widget, then creata a custom menu for it (‘appearance – menus’).
alternatively, you could use a ‘Custom HTML’ widget and add those two links there directly as html link tags.
both ways might need some adaptation of the formatting.

if you want to edit the code of footer.php directly, you can create a copy of footer.php from the parent theme in the child theme, for example using FTP https://codex.www.ads-software.com/FTP_Clients

So I tried adding an HTML widget to the footer but it does not appear at all.

I’ve tried every footer section widget and still nothing appears.

Is there maybe CSS code I could add to the additional CSS box in the customizer to add these links?
