    hi there!

    I’m trying to learn something about wordpress and his themes/plugins.
    I made a page to try WP Slick Slider and Image Carousele with Zerif Lite theme.

    [slick-carousel-slider design=”design-6″ centermode=”true”]

    The guide to insert the above code to let the slider work on a page is clear and easy, and it works on all the pages I created but not on the homepage!

    Where am I wrong?

    Thank you for the support!

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,
    Thanks for reaching here.

    Please go to Settings -> reading -> Your homepage displays -> A static page(select below).
    You are select home page in which page you put shortcode.

    Other solution you are find template home page your theme file structure.
    Add this shortcode copy and paste in your file like header, template or footer.
    <?php echo do_shortcode(‘[slick-carousel-slider design=”design-6″ centermode=”true”]’); ?>

    Let me know if you have any issue or query.
    Thanks && Regards

    Thank you!

    You were so kind. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find the right spot to put the php code (I’m a newbie and the template file folder is complex for me), and the settings changes didn’t help too.

    But thx to an update from the theme’s creators now it’s possible to choose a custom slider directly from the graphic interface (as in the pic below).

    Put slider in Zerif Lite

    Keep it up with the good work!
