Unable to add Vimeo via URL

    When trying to add a Vimeo video via URL, nothing seems to happen.

    I add the link (https://vimeo.com/myprosperity/review/228301938/85a9abeca3) and move to the Title field but unlike with YouTube videos, nothing seems to appear. If I manually add in the Title and manually add the Image URL information, still nothing else seems to happen and clicking on “Insert Video URL” button does nothing.

    A different video player I created, using all YouTube videos, works fine. Just seems something specific to Vimeo where it isn’t working.

    Any ideas of what might be happening is appreciated!

    Thanks for your post.
    I’ve checked the provided link adding it to a video player from my side and it didn’t work. However, another video taken from Vimeo platform worked: https://vimeo.com/217895419

    Could you test this one at your end?
    Seems there is something wrong with that specific link provided.

    Yes the link you provided seems to work fine (though I do find it gets added twice, and that seems to happen to me with YouTube videos also).

    I’ll go back to the person that provided me with my original Vimeo link and see if I can work it out from there.

    Thanks, I have just submitted something through your contact form.

    In the meantime I have managed to obtain the original mp4 for this project, and uploaded to YouTube so my issue has effectively been resolved. I think they were hosting it in a non-standard Vimeo environment, which is why it wasn’t working before.
